Apologies for the overshare of photos but I wanted to be sure to show all aspects of our excellent adventure with Toby of Highland Auto Campers!
Toby can do it all & has it all. Highland Auto Campers truly thought of everything & put our minds at ease from the get-go. They were always available for any questions or concerns along the way, and were very easy to communicate with. (Thank you Alicia!!)
We spent 5 jam-packed days traveling the Highlands in our Campervan. We witnessed some gorgeous sunsets, whether we were still on-the-go or parked at our next spot. We were able to cook myriad delicious & fresh meals all along our journey thanks to the spacious fridge, kitchenette, & well-stocked pantry items. The camping chairs, table, & grill were much appreciated in addition! We were plenty warm & cozy no matter the weather, and had plenty of space for our belongings. Toby brought us to some epic hikes & sights safely, and honestly was very straight forward to drive--especially with Alicia's thorough instruction.
We absolutely recommend Highland Auto Campers and hope to be back again soon.

Such a fun way to explore the Scottish Highlands! We had the best experience with this little company. Alicia was super kind and friendly, responsive before our trip, and explained everything about the van thoroughly before we got on the road! We rented Toby, the automatic campervan they have and it was perfect for my fiancé and I. Enough space for all our things and super easier to use and navigate. We would definitely recommend Highland Campers to anyone looking for a company to hire from!

just had a lovely time away in isla a perfect little van could'nt ask for more it was just what i needed. very comfy for me and two labs would highly recommend to all looking for a van hire company to look no further than highland auto campers.

My friend and I hired a camper twice this year in April we did the North 500 then returned to Scotland to do the Isle of Skye.
Highland Campervan was a brilliant site to book with. Alicia was very friendly and made us feel very welcome

We had a fantastic week and a bit, away in Harris the camper. Every thing was provided that we needed during our time away and the Gas BBQ was a great addition for cooking. Camper was very easy to drive, despite the size of the van it felt extremely roomy with 3 adults sharing. Everything was included in the price and no hidden extras, unlike other companies in the area. Would thoroughly recommend Highland Auto Campers Ltd

We had a great time travelling across the Outer Hebrides in Lewis in June 2025, we have such good memories of the trip which will last a lifetime. Alicia was so helpful and everything was provided for us, and the extras were a lovely touch! Thank you, would recommend!

Communication with Alicia was great from start to finish, and Isla was great to drive on narrow roads.
Isla was really well equipped and comfortable whatever the weather. The fridge, diesel heater, comfortable pull- out bed and kitchen items all contributed to a great experience.

We hired Lewis for 10 days to drive the NC500. Highland auto campers were nothing short of brilliant. The camper was well appointed and came with all the equipment needed for a comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Lewis was the perfect vehicle for navigating the narrow winding roads of the NC500 with ample space for 2 adults. I highly recommend using Highland Auto Campers for anyone wanting to do the NC500.

We had a brilliant time in Harris with our 2 kids (13,9). The van had everything we could possibly need, was very comfortable and was the right size for some of the small roads on the NC500.
Alicia was extremely helpful before the trip, during handover and would have been easily accessible if we’d had any issues on the road (we didn’t!).
We did the NC500 in August, it was not busy, the roads were quiet, the weather was mixed and we did not see many midges.
Would definitely highly recommend Highland Auto Campers!
