Meet Lewis, our 2 + 2 Pop-top Camper

Introducing Lewis  – a 2+2 berth pop-top campervan. Offering spacious accommodation for up to 4 people. The perfect campervan to hire for a North coast 500 road trip!
 
Lewis has a double rear seat that opens out to create a generous double bed. Raising the pop-top roof reveals the 2nd double bed.
 
With 4 belted travel seats, 2 double beds and space to travel, relax and sleep. This is the perfect camper for couples or families looking to tour the North Coast 500.
 
Based on the Ford Transit Custom. This campervan is the perfect vehicle size for touring the narrow Highland roads. So you don’t have to miss any part of this stunning country! With electric power steering, and reversing cameras as standard – the single-track roads and passing places are a breeze! With the latest Euro 6 engines, these are among the most fuel-efficient campervans.

We pride ourselves on offering a value for money campervan hire service, with everything included in the daily pricing. This is because we want you to get the most out of your holiday, and don’t think you should have to compromise on quality or service. Our campervans are all top of the range models, all less than 3 years old, and are kitted out with quality camping gear and accessories so you can just enjoy your holiday!

What to expect when you hire a campervan

How to book

Our live online booking system is always up to date. So you can check availability, prices or book your campervan hire at any time. Once you have booked, we will keep you updated with useful information to help you plan your holiday. We will also notify you of key dates in the run-up to your holiday.

Securing your camper

To secure your holiday we only need a 25% deposit. The balance will be payable 28 days before the start of your campervan adventure.
 
A £750 security deposit is payable 2 days before the start of your holiday. This will be refunded 7 days after the safe return of your campervan. Please see our Terms and conditions for full details.

Getting here

The start of your holiday couldn’t be easier. If you are driving here you can leave your car with us for the duration of your hire. Or for a relaxing start to your campervan holiday, why not fly or catch the train to Inverness? We can arrange transfers from either Inverness airport or the city centre. This means you will arrive relaxed and ready for your campervan adventure!

Full instruction provided

Upon arrival, we will carry out a full demonstration of your campervan (please allow at least 1 hour for this). This will mean you set off on your holiday confident in the use of all the campervan features. Each camper comes with a detailed user manual should you forget anything. We are also always on hand if you need us 24/7!

Campervan Hire Insurance

Insurance for additional drivers is available at no extra cost. Drivers will need to be aged 25-74 with a full, clean driving licence which has been held for at least 2 years.

Insurance for overseas drivers

We can also provide insurance for non-UK drivers from:

  • South Africa
  • Canada
 
If your licence was issued in a country other than those listed, please contact us before making a booking.

Camper hire for drivers under 25 and over 74

It is also possible for us to offer insurance for drivers under the age of 25 and over the age of 74. This will be subject to a higher security deposit. Please check with us before booking.

Proof of address

We will need all drivers to provide proof of identity and address before your hire starts. Please ensure your driving licence is up to date if you have recently moved.

On and off grid camping

On grid camping

If you want to use the 3 pin 240v sockets within the camper then you'll need to book hook up on your campsites. Maybe you'll need to charge up cameras for all the amazing photo opportunities! This will also charge your leisure battery.

Off grid camping

Power onboard your campervan is by a leisure battery. This will keep the fridge, lighting, heating and USB sockets working. The battery is charged when driving, and via a solar panel - yes this even works in Scotland!
